What is a Virgin POC?
Definition
A Virgin POC (VPOC) is a Point of Control that the next Value Area did not overlap, so price has not yet returned to it. It sits on the chart as an untested level — a magnet. The logic is straightforward: the market agreed that price was fair at that level, and it has not yet returned to confirm or reject that consensus.
How traders use it
Virgin POCs act as magnets. When price approaches one, the expectation is a reaction — either a bounce or a clean fill. MarketWebs marks every Virgin POC automatically and removes it from the map once price trades through it. This turns a manual, error-prone process into a live feature on your chart.
